Susan D. Hatzo, Owner Certified, NDGAA
Owner-Operator, Susan Hatzo, is well-known in the dog world for her care and handling of dogs. It all began with raising and training her first American cocker spaniels in 1980. Susan trained and competed in both obedience and conformation with her dogs for over twenty years. Some have become Therapy Dogs, visiting nursing homes to cheer the elderly and schools, to educate children about dogs. She is a member and has served in numerous offices of American Spaniel Club, Inc. and The Cocker Spaniel Club of Georgia, Inc.
Susan annually attends The Atlanta Pet Fair, which is an industry trade show that offers classes and workshops on the different breeds, products, CPR for animals, coat & skin problems, as well as grooming competitions. She has been a competitor several times, has judged, given seminars, and written a grooming article for (and appeared on the cover of) "The Pet Stylist," an industry publication.
Susan's first shop opened in 1996 with a co-owner, and soon was restructured and re-opened as Happy Tails To You, Inc. in December 2001. Now she brings her grooming talent right to your home in her mobile grooming salon. Susan has been a member of The National Dog Groomers Association of America since 1998 (See our Code of Ethics on our Home Page).
